Hello again,

We're back at it after a weekend of camping, recreational drinking, and making bad decisions. It's been a tough beginning to the week but it's nothing a few gallons of water and Aloe Vera can't fix. A highlight of the weekend includes Chris being duct-taped to a picnic table while AJ beat him relentlessly with a whiffle ball bat. Seriously, you can't make that up. Bruises and dignity will heal... hopefully.

This week brings you a new release on Shangri-La from Band of Skulls. Check below for a synopsis and tour dates. As always WE'D LOVE TO SEND YOU TO A SHOW. Please let us know when they're coming to your area and we'll hook you up with tickets.

Also, Ramona Falls listening post info is below. Check out the details and get in on this.

Lastly, and certainly not least, we'd like to make note of the new David Bazan record being released on Barsuk on September 1st titled Curse Your Branches.  This record is very special to us at Flea.  Bazan is mainly known for his work with the influential group Pedro the Lion. We'd like to put this record on everyones radars for now but expect to see more information from us soon. Music will be sent out this week. This is what Filter and Under The Radar had to say about Bazan:

“His most powerful and interesting album thus far.” - Filter

“Deeply personal and jaded… pitched roughly between the fireside balladry
of mid-period R.E.M. and the languid melodic radiance of Red House
Painters.” - Under The Radar

RAMONA FALLS LISTENING POSTS!

line

Ramona Falls music is making its way to you right now if it hasn't already arrived. This is Brent Knopf from Menomena. Honestly its just as great as Menomena. Please give it a close listen. It comes out on Barsuk (via RedEye) on August 18. You will love this, and so will all of your customers. And what's a better way to put that music in people's ears? How about a listening post? Or how about a banner ad? Maybe both? Let's make a deal. Let us know if you are interested in either.
