Happy November!

This year went by quick, didn't it? Thankfully, this is my favorite time of the year. The snow starts falling in New England, the NFL, NBA, and NHL are in full swing, Winter Brew is appropriately on tap, and everyone starts flocking to the record store to buy gifts. This year I'm asking for the first pressing of "Yesterday, and Today" from The Beatles. So if anyone has ten grand they don't need, you know, think of me.

Hot Cha Cha's new record is out, laboriously titled "The World's Hardest Working Telescope and The Violent Birth of Stars". I'm thinking of abbreviating the title to "TWHWTATVBOS", or just "the Telescope Record". There's some awesome value-adds for the record you'll find below. Here's a hint: You can open a beer with it, then shake it for a delightful time.

Hot Cha Cha "The World's Hardest Working Telescope and The Violent Birth of Stars" [OUT NOW!]

These four girls first got your attention with their 2008 EP "Rifle, I Knew You When You Were Just a Pistol" which landed in the CMJ Top 30. Their new record, "The World's Hardest Working Telescope and the Violent Birth of Stars" is now available on Exit Stencil Recordings through Edge distribution or Carrot Top distribution.

The full-length has a lot of similarity to their EP but adds new instrumentation and sophistication to their arrangements. The record is incredibly danceable and entertaining.

Catch Hot Cha Cha as they continue to tour across the US and introduce their record to the masses.

AWESOME NEW REPUBLIC "HEARTS" [OUT NOW!]

Awesome New Republic hail from Miami where they're probably still enjoying the warm ocean waters. Their record "Hearts" is OUT NOW on Honor Roll Records (RedEye).

The duo formed while attending the University of Miami's Frost School of Music and are just a couple of the reasons why the rest of the country is slowly paying attention to Miami's music scene.
